The president of the deputation of Granada visits Madrid Content City
Francisco Rodríguez Guerrero and Raúl Berdonés, president of MCC and Secuoya Content Group, discussed the booming content industry and the potential of the province of Granada as a filming destination.
Madrid Content City (MCC), one of the largest audiovisual hubs in Europe, was visited by Francisco Rodríguez Guerrero, president of the Provincial Council of Granada. During his tour of the facilities, Rodríguez Guerrero was welcomed by Raúl Berdonés, promoter and president of the production center and CEO of Secuoya Content Group, a leading company in content creation, production, post-production and distribution in Granada.
The visit underlines the Diputación de Granada’s interest in promoting the audiovisual industry as an economic engine and attraction of talent in the region. During the talk with Berdonés, the opportunities offered by Granada as a location for productions were discussed, as well as the potential and commitment of the city and the province to consolidate itself as a key destination for the industry.
In recent weeks, Secuoya Content Group has reaffirmed its commitment to the development of the Granada Film Commission, an essential platform for attracting film shoots and promoting the growth of the sector in the province. During the meeting, Rodríguez Guerrero was able to learn first-hand about the advances in infrastructure and production that have turned the MCC into an epicenter for major audiovisual productions.
