This approach aims to maximize profitability while fostering a strong commitment to society.
We follow a clear carbon footprint strategy, focused on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and using resources more efficiently.
Our certifications reflect the effective design and implementation of sustainable solutions.
The foundation of our business model
Backed by a well-defined strategy to reduce emissions
BREEAM® and LEED® accredit us as a responsible and sustainability-driven company.
BREEAM® (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Methodology) is the world’s leading and most technically advanced sustainability assessment method for buildings, with the highest number of certified projects since its creation in 1990.
This private, voluntary certification evaluates impacts in 10 categories (Management, Health & Wellbeing, Energy, Transport, Water, Materials, Waste, Land Use & Ecology, Pollution, and Innovation). It provides a final score that serves as a benchmark, supported by the methodology’s Technical Manual, for sustainable building at every stage — from design to construction and maintenance. Various assessment schemes are available depending on building type and use.
LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is an internationally recognized certification system for sustainable buildings created by the U.S. Sustainable Building Council. LEED certification is based on the incorporation in the project of aspects related to:
Location and transportation.
Sustainable development of open spaces on the site.
Efficiency of water consumption.
Energy efficiency and the use of alternative energies.
Improvement of indoor environmental quality.
Selection of materials and waste management in construction.
The study of design innovation measures or criteria.
The analysis of regional priority, adapting its design and execution to elements available in nearby areas.
The integrated ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) approach refers to the integration of environmental, social and governance factors into an organization's strategic and operational decision-making. This approach seeks a balance between economic profitability, sustainability and social well-being to promote long-term positive impact.
Madrid Content City is becoming more accessible and sustainable thanks to a new station on the C-4 commuter rail line, the most environmentally friendly form of motorized passenger transport in Europe — helping to improve air quality across the city.
The complex also features bike lanes connecting the entire site with the station and the town of Tres Cantos, as well as charging stations for electric vehicles.
