The Mayoress of Granada visits Madrid Content City facilities
Accompanied by Vicente Azpitarte, Senator for Granada; Raúl Berdonés, president of Madrid Content City and Secuoya Content Group; and Pablo Jimeno, the company’s CEO, Marifrán Carazo was able to tour this leading audiovisual hub in Spain and Europe.
Marifrán Carazo, mayor of Granada, and Senator Vicente Azpitarte visited Netflix’s facilities at Madrid Content City, together with Esperanza Ibáñez, Netflix’s Director of Institutional Relations; Raúl Berdonés, executive president of Secuoya Content Group and of the complex; and Pablo Jimeno, the company’s CEO.
During their visit to the largest audiovisual center in Spain and Europe, the mayor was shown the platform’s Production and Post‑production Center in Madrid, its sound stages, and other facilities spread across the 22,000 square meters it occupies in this audiovisual district in Tres Cantos.

Looking toward a creative future
Carazo also visited Secuoya Content Group’s filming studios, managed by Drago Broadcast, and toured Planeta Formación y Universidades’ The Core School facilities, where the next generation of audiovisual professionals is trained.

Madrid Content City, spanning 240,000 square metres, is Spain’s largest audiovisual hub and a benchmark in Europe. Designed to meet the needs of the audiovisual industry, it is both accessible and committed to sustainability and environmental stewardship. The complex features 23 fully equipped sound stages—12 of which are already in operation—along with production and post‑production areas, technical offices, production‑support facilities, and a university campus that can accommodate 7,000 students.
